DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to announce our annual holiday food drive donation program. Starting now through December 14th\, all Lighthouse Credit Union branches will have dedicated bins for participants to drop off donations. \nThis year\, our Rockingham and Strafford County branch locations will support the 17-year running Pease and Carrots program to benefit Gather\, a local food pantry that provides services throughout the Greater Seacoast Area.  \nIn efforts to make even more impact\, we are expanding our reach to include all the communities we serve. All Branches outside of Rockingham and Strafford County will host food drives to support local pantries in their communities. You can view a list of all partner organizations by location here.

New Hampshire Hunger Solutions (NHHS) is an advocacy organization that uses evidence-based approaches to end hunger in NH. NHHS advocates to end food insecurity\, improve equitable access to nutritious food\, and address hunger’s root causes for all New Hampshire residents. In order to achieve our mission and vision\, NHHS uses the collective impact model and policy\, systems and environmental (PSE) change to focus on these four priority areas: Engage in policy advocacy to increase participation and awareness of Federal Nutrition Programs\, Support Schools to increase participation in school meals and summer meals\, Increase public awareness of the causes of and solutions to hunger in New Hampshire\, and coalition building among existing and emerging food access councils and coalitions to increase food access in local food systems. Bringing communities together to address hunger in NH is how we can make sure all NH residents have access to the food and nutrition they need.
